Coming to the end of freshman year
My best memory is doing the musical. It was a wonderful experience and I had a blast doing it! My other favorite memory is the freshman rock climbing trip! I had so much fun doing it! The most important thing I have learned this year is how close my relationship with God is now. I have grown so much closer to him through the chapels. My three pieces of advice are: 1. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! If you don't do your homework then it can bring your grade down. I have learned this form personally experience. 2. Study for test!! This is one of the most important things to do! Always take time out of your day to look over your notes, just for at least five minutes each day. It helps a lot on your studying. 3. Ask questions! Always ask questions. No questions are stupid! If you don't understand something ask.

Freedom Means a lot to Some People
In the book The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman, I have learned about how freedom means a lot to other people. Freedom means that you have a right to do anything. It is important to black people who were slaves back in the civil war times. They earned their freedom, I never thought freedom was the important until I read The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman. A lot of people take freedom for advantage. Miss Jane worked hard for her freedom. Since she was little she worked very hard. Freedom isn't something you can take advantage of.

Stereotypes that aren't true
In my English class we are reading the book The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman . People are given stereotypes by other people that are sometimes not true. In this book, the white people in the book are said to be mean to all of the slaves and black people, but some of those white people are nice to their slaves and the black people. When Jane and Ned needed help to find Ohio they found a man that was white and he helped them plus he gave them a water jug full of water. People shouldn't give other people stereotypes unless it is true.

A suspenseful detective story
The detective story Trifles was my favorite story that we read in English. Trifles is a story about a woman who supposedly murdered her husband for some reason. The county attorney, sheriff, and Mr. Hale can't find any evidence about the murder but the detectives wives have figured out the murder. I enjoyed the suspense in the story because the story tells you all of the secrets that the characters don't know. There isn't foreshadowing in the story because they want to keep you in line with the characters so it makes you feel like you are a character in the story too. The characterization shows how everyone sees the murder in a different perspective. The men in the play use irony towards the women. The women have found very good evidence that the men don't see. The men just mock the things that they could use for their evidence.

The best children's book I think there is...
My favorite children's book would be Clifford the Big Red Dog. I like it because their is always a problem in the story or someone has done something bad and they have to figure out how to fix it. Also because it is about a dog and who doesn't love dogs?
